This commanding Italian castle for sale out of the 19th century is situated close to Siena in Tuscany, surrounded by meadows and woodland with sweeping views across the Tuscan landscape and onto Siena. Already at the time, in 1825, this castle was denominated as a manorial palace in the land register. In 1869, the palace was converted adding Gothic building elements and a spectacular central courtyard with a colonnade. On the Piano Nobile there are windows with lancet arches, while the windows on the other levels feature single arched Gothic windows. Another distinctive feature is the octagonal chapel on the ground floor and the grand salon on the first floor with wooden wall panels and a large masoned open fireplace. Beautiful cross- and barrel vaulted ceilings can be found on the ground floor.

The castle offers about 2,000 m² on three levels. While the ground floor comprises the characteristic colonnade, several salons, billiards room, and the before mentioned chapel. On the upper floors many salons still feature the original flooring and ceiling frescoes. The castle is embedded in a landscaped Italian park with a mature tree population, well-tended hedges and a historic water basin, and is surrounded by about 20 hectares of land with vineyards and olive groves.
